• What is Telstra Business Systems (TBS)?
  

After selling the Commander brand some years ago Telstra has now decided to re-enter the business telephone system market through a Telstra branded Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) product and have selected NTD to sell and service their systems throughout Australia. The business unit within Telstra charged with this task is called Telstra Business Systems, or TBS. Telstra have negotiated with leader telephone systems vendors in Australia, such as NEC and LG-Nortel, to provide systems with the Telstra brand on the handsets. After departing the CPE market Telstra’s technical personnel dissolved into private enterprise and businesses such as NTD. In order to satisfy customer technical needs Telstra engaged selected dealers to consult with customers on the right solution for their needs and also provide the necessary technical support. As an indication of NTD’s dedication to the TBS product the company was awarded the National Dealer of the Year for 2005 – 2006 and came a close second in 2007-2008.
